Oceans

The sea is so beautiful... Always strong and elegant, and has lovely descriptive adjectives to be incorporated into poetry!

 Blue Giant

Beating and battling
Frothing and foaming at the mouth
A powerful spirit,
With magic and beauty.
Deep green, baby blue,
Turquoise, navy, cyan,
All these and dozens more.
Curling and looping, or
Leaping and dancing.
Stormy and fearsome
Calm and laughing, nothing more
Than a baby paddling carefully.
The sea has so many faces,
Each day a different temper.

    COMMENT ABOUT: When did you last go to the beach? Was the ocean in a temper, or was it sweet-natured at them time?

      I last went to the beach yesterday on a day out with my family! It was
      sweet-natured and warm! By the way I love your poem!!!

    I am very lucky because I live in a small town very close to the beach,so when it is warm I go down yo the beach after school with my friends.

      That must be fun! I don't often get to go to the beach, but I do enjoy it a lot when I do go.
